Primary Responsibilites
  • Responsible for creating wire-frames, sitemaps and flows for the complete overhaul and redesign for the new Gifts.com website and mobile site which yielded a 15% increase in conversion from the previous site, as well as opening up a new source of conversion/revenue with the mobile site.
  • Assisted in fine tuning the existing product taxonomy framework to maximize usability with in the search result pages, product pages as well as the information display of landing pages.
  • Created an email template system to easily create and design content allowing us to quickly adjust emailing strategies for different business needs and optimized usability giving Gifts.com an increase of email click though of about 26%
  • Collaborated with Design and Development teams on the implementation of flow charts and page schematics iteratively in an agile environment.
  • Validated designs and concepts through usability testing, script writing and using the Silverback application for audio and video recording of the usability tests.
  • Responsible for creating and modifying existing internal admin tools for Gifts.com merchandisers by listening to what the needs are and working closely to craft a system of tools that can increase productivity of product merchandizing.

  • Architected and directed School Loans Corporation’s proprietary Loan Processing Workflow. Using user centric design, the flow enabled users to scrub, and error check applications that reduced the processing time from 15 minutes to and average of 6 minutes. Increasing productivity over 50%, at the same time reducing errors and producing general user and loan reporting for management teams.
  • Efficiently managed School Loans Corp. product development which include gathering requirements, the writing of technical specifications, use cases, vision documents, creating flow charts, wire-frames, as well as testing eight websites and all internal and external products.
  • Facilitated the communication and product development between Technology, Marketing, Sales and outside Design firms, helping each department to understand technical processes, all stages of product development, and maintaining the integrity of several of our brands.
